Inter Miami has unveiled their star-studded squad, featuring football legends Lionel Messi and former Barcelona trio Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and newly-signed Luis Suarez. The team is set to play a hybrid friendly against El Salvador on January 19, marking the beginning of their first foreign pre-season tour. The tour will take them to diverse locations, including Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Japan.
The strong squad, led by coach Tata Martino, is geared up for the match at the Estadio Cuscatlan in Sal Salvador. Following this overseas stint, Messi and his teammates will face FC Dallas on January 24. The journey continues with challenging matches against top teams in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Hilal on January 29 and Al-Nassr on February 1. A highlight of the tour is the showdown between Messi and his longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
The team will then head to Hong Kong for a match against Hong Kong XI on February 4 before facing Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on February 7. Returning home, Inter Miami will play against Messi's boyhood club, Newell's Old Boys, at the DRV PNK Stadium in Miami on February 15.
